Privacy Policy

The two minute drill game has no accounts, shows no ads and does not sell your data. This page explains what is stored and what is measured.
Stored on your device
Your daily results, statistics, streaks, Survivor progress and your cookie choice are saved in your browser's local storage. Your local statistics stay on your device. Clearing this site's data in your browser deletes it.
Community leaderboard
Online ranked drives create anonymous attempt records in Cloudflare D1, including the challenge day, game mode, final score, call score and Survivor progress. These records support basic result checks and expire after 30 days. Practice drives are not submitted.
A first-party cookie named tmd-player identifies this browser for rankings. It lasts up to one year, is not used for advertising and is stored as a hash in the database. Clearing it creates a new ranking identity; results do not sync between devices.
Only when you choose Submit my result do your nickname and score appear on the public board. Avoid using your real name or other personal details. Published daily results and your best submitted Survivor result remain on the board. Your chosen nickname and recent submission information are also saved locally so you can retry a failed submission. We do not store your raw IP address in the leaderboard database.
Embedded game
Other websites can display the compact game in an iframe served from this site. Embedded drives do not create leaderboard attempts or submissions, and the embedded page does not load Google Analytics. The game tries to save progress in browser storage; your browser may keep embedded storage separate or block it. Use the full site for ranked drives. The website hosting the embed has its own privacy policy.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and understand how the game is played, for example which pages are viewed, how many drives are started and finished,
and how often results are shared. Google Analytics collects information such as your browser and device type, the page that referred you and your approximate
location (country and city). It sets cookies named _ga and _ga_* to tell visits apart. Advertising features and ad personalization are
turned off.
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, analytics cookies are only set after you accept them. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set; Google may still receive basic signals without cookies that do not identify you. You can read how Google uses this data at How Google uses information from sites that use its services, and you can opt out of Google Analytics on every site with the Google Analytics opt out browser add on.
Other services
- Cloudflare hosts the site. Like any web host it processes your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
- Google Fonts serves the fonts the game uses, so your browser requests them from Google's servers.
- Share buttons for X, Facebook, Reddit, Threads, Bluesky and WhatsApp only contact those services when you click one. Their own privacy policies apply there.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
